Business headshots are so little about perfection, and so much about capturing someone in their natural beauty. A huge part of putting them at ease in front of the camera is to have them in a place they’re comfortable. Terza and I (www.theterzafactor.com) thought we were going to have to reschedule due to beautiful spring rains, but alas, the clouds gave way for a few minutes and let us get some great images.
We found some open shade and colorful backgrounds. How much your world changes just by turning around and looking behind you! Then, we found a large lilac bush in full bloom. Couldn’t ask for anything more!
Who says business headshots have to be stuffy? Certainly not me! They should be the best first impression for your clients to get to know you; the real, comfortable you. Big smiles and all.
